Roblox was booming, but the price of virtual drip was getting out of hand — and Gen Z was not about that digital inflation life. Meanwhile, the Salvation Army Thrift Stores were struggling to reach Gen Z in real life. So, we built the bridge.

In February 2026, the Salvation Army launched the first-ever thrift store on Roblox — stocked with second-hand virtual looks donated by creators and sold for a fraction of the cost. And, every in-game purchase supported people in need, just like IRL.

Partnering with the team at The Gang, we created a space that felt authentic, nostalgic, and purposeful. The result? Nearly 15 million visitors in three weeks and a 60% surge in Gen Z foot traffic to actual Salvation Army stores. Legit, right?
